Mind Over Matter Arts CIC

Mind Over Matter Arts is a Community Interest Company elevating the arts and expanding the discourse around mental health through the mediums of Spoken Word Poetry, Hip-Hop, and Song.

Operating as a non-profit organisation primarily in London and Manchester but also around the UK, our essence revolves around furnishing individuals with a secure platform for self-expression.

Our goal is to create secure havens for individuals to express themselves, free from judgment, using their chosen art forms. Through these outlets, we foster unity, educating individuals on how writing and performance can contribute to mental well-being.

We are currently (Oct 2023-May 24) running a national poetry slam in six cities across the UK including Sheffield. This is a brand-new national initiative that merges bespoke workshops and regional poetry slams, culminating in a spectacular grand finale in the heart of London.
