Hive IT Limited

At Hive IT, we design and build digital products that simplify life for people, organisations and communities.

We’re a Sheffield-based digital agency with a human-centred approach to problem-solving. We work with local and national organisations like the Department for Education, Digital Catapult, University of Sheffield, and many more. Whether from a government department, university, or innovative start-up, we help organisations turn complex challenges into meaningful digital solutions.

Our team of designers, developers and researchers work collaboratively with clients to: Establish strategy via workshops and discovery, design inclusive, accessible digital services, design and build user-focused websites, platforms and tools, and deploy technology that drives impact, not just outputs

We believe that technology is best when it’s designed with people, rather than for them. That’s why collaboration, empathy and curiosity are at the heart of everything we do. Whether it’s healthcare innovation, education reform or social impact projects, we help organisations build digital transformation that truly matters.

Our services include user research and discovery, service and product design, web and app development, branding and design, Quality Assurance Testing, and facilitation and workshops

We don’t just deliver digital products, we build partnerships. Our workshop-driven process helps clients come to better solutions, earlier and guarantees each solution is grounded in true human need.
