Worse place I have ever been/booked.
To start off with we were unable to access the property at our check in time. The host then tried changing the check in time.
His reason for the delay were that it took the cleaners longer to clean due to the mess that the people the night before had made. This definitely could not of been the case as no way that property had been cleaned at all.
He then added that there are marks on the property ceiling and that the bed frame is broken due to the people that stayed the night before and for that reason they have just replaced it with 2 mattresses on top of each other. As you could imagine this wasn’t a great start. When entering the property the smell that hit us was disgusting, stunk of cigarettes and just dirty. Every single wall was filthy, there were half of a cigarette on the floor in the hall way as soon as we walked in.
2 mirrors in the lounge were so streaky couldn’t see ourselves through them, tv also.
Ash on the window sill, bedding under sofa bed dirty, 2 spare pillows with no pillow cases on them and 1 ripped. When putting the sofa bed together it was filthy on the floor next to it and were also 2 cigarettes buds on the floor.
We had to go straight out as we were late to our event. But when returning all 4 of us didn’t want to stay, we tried contacting the host but no answer which left us with no choice, other than to go through air bnb. When the host found this out he rang and the attitude we got from him was appalling he only cared about if we had left the property and put the key back, I was trying to explain the reasons why we didn’t want to stay and he just kept talking over me which left me to hang up. He then kept ringing which we decided we no longer needed to communicate with him once we had put the key back and left. We cancelled the booking and had to go and search for a hotel at midnight. Whilst looking for hotels the host sent me a text message saying “who do you think you are talking to lol” then within less than a minute he unsent this message which was very strange behaviour.We got a full refund back which covers the hotel cost.
I will never be returning to any of this hosts property’s and will 100% NOT RECOMMEND to anyone.
